On Friday, Masha and Ann Marie took the redeye from Seattle to JFK. Landing at around 6 a.m., a bit bleary eyed but excited to get started, this dynamic duo got some coffee and hopped in a cab. ENK was a' callin....
For weeks prior, packing for this show was a major undertaking. Neither Ann Marie nor Masha traveled light. With give-away make-up bags stuffed in their luggage, four large suitcases full with the Holiday and Spring collections, mini-posters tucked in laptop bags, portable steam machine trailing behind them....these women carried ON. On Saturday morning they headed to the hotel, checked in and took a minute to check email and splash some water on their faces. Then it was off to Pier 94.
Saturday was all about set up: install banners, seting out lookbooks and press kits, and supervising the union workers who erected booths and moved furniture over the next 16 hours. All was ready by Sunday morning!
